Xcyte Therapies, Inc.Validation EngineerXcyte Therapies, Inc., a Seattle-based biotechnology company, is developing and commercializing novel cell-based or cellular therapeutic products that harness the power of the immune system to treat cancer and many infectious diseases. Responsibilities include: Validation of equipment, utility systems, automation systems, processes and facilities, preparingprotocols, analyzing test results, and preparing summaries. Use of KayeRecorders and Validator Software for Temperature Mapping Studies andExcel Spreadsheet Generation and Summary Report Writing for PQ studies.The Validation Engineer will generate, review and modify StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs), and support compliance with change controland revalidation programs. Qualified candidates will have a BS degree in a technical discipline or related science, and 3-5 years experience in validation in a cGMP environment. Familiarity with pharmaceutical compendial and international standards and regulations (e.g., USP, ISPE,GAMP, ISO), and knowledge of biopharmaceutical equipment and controlsystems required. Thorough knowledge of validation principles,manufacturing processes, quality systems and regulatory agencyexpectations. Must have excellent communication skills. Please send resumes to:
