Manufacturing Associate

Dendreon Corporation is a publicly held biotechnology company developing therapeutic vaccines, monoclonal antibodies and small molecule candidates for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.

Description:

• Support of both GMP upsteam and downsteam protein production.
• Filtration and final filling of protein and other reagents.
• Assitance to protein purification including buffer prep, column pouring and testing and cleaning of purification skids and equipment.
• Assitance with bioreactor fermenation including media prep, SIP and CIP of bioreactors.
• Compliance with cGMP guidelines.
• Maintenance of equipment used in cGMP manufacturing.
• Inventory and reordering of supplies.

Requirements:

• BS degree and at least 2 years related experience cGMP experience.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Will require moving large carboys ( 20-50 L) of buffer and reagents.
• Working with acids, bases and biohazards.
• Will require working in a Class 10,000 cleanroom environments.
