Project Manager, Pharmaceutical Product Development

If you are an experienced Project Manager with pharmaceutical industry experience, particularly in the area of cross functional project management and want to work in a fast-paced environment of a growing company, then consider ICOS.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing project details within the Product Development Team to help with achieving goals in a time and cost efficient manner. This includes:

  • Creation and maintenance of detailed integrated project timelines, follow-up, tracking, forecasting, reporting, and facilitating communication and decision-making processes between team members, external resources and Project Team Leaders.
  • Preparation of rolled up timelines and project status summaries to support quarterly project reports.
  • Development and administration of project budgets and timelines.
  • Interaction and coordination with all functional groups associated with the project: clinical, research, finance, regulatory, external contractors and senior management.
  • Driving critical decision making processes and facilitating consistent communication across all team members.
  • Active participation in team meetings to ensure all project efforts are coordinated between all team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in a scientific discipline with relevant scientific/medical/manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in both CM&C; and clinical project management and late stage drug development through product approval is essential.
  • Previous project management background in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical environment is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of roles and detailed job responsibilities of each functional area including Regulatory, Compliance, Clinical, Manufacturing, Development etc.
  • Ability to work and influence across reporting lines and functional areas is critical.
  • Experience in working effectively with corporate partners.
  • Extremely detail oriented, yet able to succinctly and effectively communicate key details.
