We are seeking a BioProcess Development Engineer/Scientist to take primary responsibility for leading the development of scalable mammalian, insect cell and possibly microbial culture processes to produce recombinant protein antigens for use in the manufacture of our vaccine products, and therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. This individual will be responsible for the development of these processes to pilot-scale production, and will participate in the technology transfer for larger scale production. Specific responsibilities include supervising the bioreactor group; designing, and optimizing bioreactor cell culture processes; culture and harvest scale up; critical parameter definition and critical range determinations; design of process validation; and production of appropriate documentation including technical reports, SOPs, test methods, batch records, protocols and specification documents.
