Director of Clinical Operations

Xcyte Therapies, Inc., a Seattle-based biotechnology company, is developing and commercializing novel cell-based or cellular therapeutic products that harness the power of the immune system to treat cancer and many infectious diseases.

This Director of Clinical Operations will be responsible for the planning, direction, execution of clinical research and data collection activities, as well as management of the clinical operations staff.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 8 years pharmaceutical drug development experience (oncology strongly preferred), in a direct project management role. Have a proven, successful track record in timely, accurate data submission, and experience in the management, tracking and implementation of multiple clinical studies. Knowledge and appreciation of all stages of pharmaceutical drug development, analytical operations, compliance and documentation required. Experience with the conduct of pivotal studies is strongly desired. Experience in the management of multiple personnel, CRA and CRO teams a must. The individual will contribute to the formulation of strategies for product development and approval, the design of clinical protocols, INDs and BLAs.
