Koronis PharmaceuticalsAnalytical Chemist/BiochemistDescription: Koronis develops therapeutics for the prevention and treatment of chronic viral diseases, with a particular focus on those caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV). The drugs designed and developed by Koronis induce viral mutagenesis that ablates the virus without resistance development. We will begin clinical trials in HIV-infected patients this year. We are seeking an analytical chemist to join an experienced team to support our drug design group and to design and implement assays to monitor drugs and drug metabolites in biological samples. This position will interface with all parts of the research and development groups. Minimal Requirements: The most critical requirement is the ability to work in a friendly, collaborative, hard-working environment where personal initiative is highly valued. The candidate must have demonstrated proficiency in modern analytical methods and method development including quantitative LC/MS. An advanced degree in chemistry or biochemistry or related field with previous industrial experience is preferred. Knowledge of drug development that includes stability studies, formulations, and cGMP/cGLP is a plus. Contact:
