Research Associate, Pharmacology/Toxicology

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated person willing to assist with preclinical in vivo experiments in rodent models of cancer and immunologic diseases for the evaluation of novel therapies. The candidate will be required to plan, manage exploratory toxicity studies, perform small animal handling, injections, blood sampling, minor surgeries, data collection and analysis, and database maintenance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline and 2+ years experience working with small laboratory animals are required. Additional experience with in vitro techniques – ELISA, flow cytometry, tissue culture, cell based activity assays, etc. – is desirable. The successful candidate will be required to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team setting. Good oral and written communication skills are essential. This position also requires a good working knowledge of MS Office and strong attention to detail.
